Hello. Just picked up a 95 Mustang GT. For many reasons beyond my control I had to get an auto. I still desire to upgrade and am wondering how much HP the auto tranny can hold ?

The car has only 38K but probably has had no service beside battery and oil changes. The car tends to pull hard right or left while driving but not all the time.

Any advice you can provide would get outstanding.

Thanks, Joe.

Welcome to SN :nice:
Damn great buy with 38K. Nothing wrong with an auto if you put the power behind it. If you want to be fast don't worry about how much the stock tranny will hold b/c you'll want to upgrade when the mod bug hits you. You should be fine after the alignment and tires, if not post up again whats wrong and we'll help you out dude.

Welcome to Stangnet! :nice:

JR is the resident postwhore, but we never notice his username because the reflection of his engine pictures blinds us.

We'll do everything we can to help you here, and soon enough, you'll be doing the same for new guys as well.

(PS: I usually don't post anything but heartfelt welcomes, I have no idea why your car is pulling) :p

Anyway, yeah, welcome, read up and enjoy the modbug!

Welcome to SN! Somehow I've never had to post pics of my 95 on here, but I guess it's because no one ever asked. Caldwell will need pics for photoshop practice, so he can keep his skills up for all the requests he gets :rlaugh: My guess on the pulling is that it needs an alignment and, or tires, and it sounds like you've got that covered. My 95 has done it for years, although it doesn't get driven nearly as much as I'd like to. When the mod bug bites ya on the a$$, don't fear it, embrace it! :nice:

Once again, welcome to stangnet. Any good exhaust/brake/suspension shop should be able to fix the pulling problem easy. I suspect an alignment problem also. Just tell them what's happening and they'll find the problem.
