Made some changes over the winter. Took the drag radials off and put a set of 28/10.5w's on. New convertor and vacuum pump. Worked in the garage untill 12:30am on an electrical gremlin, then up at 4:30am again to make it to the track. In my frustration I even told my wife "I don't know why I do this" Well, I was fortunate enough to run the fastest I have run to date, and yes my wife reminded me why I do this. Here is my fastest.
1.32 60'
5.272 1/8
140.38 mph
8.040 1/4
178.25 mph
Basically three runs around the same 8.10,8.09,and the 8.04. I felt like I could of put a dial in on it. Best 60' a 1.297 that went with the 8.10 and a 1.37 60' that went with the 8.09

Should have called me to come over and help, my family was in Oregon all weekend.

Now if only we could get my car to come within 1 to 2 seconds close to that time

Congratulations on the new numbers. I wish you luck at keeping those electrical gremlins at bay! They are the worst.

YES YES YES!!! That is why I am going with a turbo next year. My wife had that stupid look on her face again. Why? She'll never get it. Those numbers are very motivating. Good job.

Just be glad your wife doesn't get it, or you would be splitting modification money with her! Just look at Eric and Misha....they have enough mustangs and other vehicles to start a car lot with.
