Well I got to go back to the track since I fixed a few thinges on my near stock notch. Last time out I was running the times in my sig and was running just as hard as tonight. Except before the air was much cooler than tonight and the car pretty much was untouced then. I'm pretty happy with what I ran I just need to go to some 555r's now and will see 13's all day. The car has very basic stuff and the motor is untouched. I got to run another black notch that was clean as heck and it was my first notch VS notch race. Well he had a low compression built 306 ready for a blower and it was pretty quiet compared to mine with the stock heads and stuff. He ran a 13.7 103 roasting the tires to my worst pass of a 14.4 @ 97. It was still fun and he said mine ran pretty good for it being a stock motor.

Best run vs a full SLP T/A.
Me.
60' 2.200
330' 5.992
1/8 9.127
mph 78.58
1000 11.844
1/4 14.141
mph 98.23

T/A
60' 2.131
330' 6.049
1/8 9.226
mph 78.19
1000 11.912
1/4 14.178
mph 98.98

I was waiting for him to blast past me but it was the closest race I ever had I had him by a bumper. The weird thing was that he pulled about 1/4 car on me off the line. But in 1-2-and the bottom of 3rd I inched passed him. Then he started to inch back up at the very end. It was hot and my car did not get a chance too cool off that well.

Man I wish I could do the heads and put my No2 kit on. The car would be a lot better. I was shifting at 5K every time and man from 4500-5K the car really falls on it's face. In time though. I was hoping for low 14's on crappy 245 street tires and thats what i got. With some sticky tires and a 1.8 60" mid 13's are not that far away.....

Yep I guess my liltte 5.0 was hungry for a 6.0 goat. I ate him up pretty good untill 4th gear came around. That car is a top end monster ..

Nice times. With some decent tires you will definatly be in the 13's.

Practice, and you can get those 60's into the 1.9 range and run 13s on a street tire!

That car runs pretty good. I think with 3.73's and full exhaust you could get that thing into the 13's on street tires too. Even if you knock those short times down to 2.0 you will be in the 13's.

Whats the timing set at?

I really don't know about the timing because I havent had it checked. I'm guessin it's still at 10*. I'm going to do a tune up on the car, cap/rotor, new plugs, maybe get a cai, and get some dr's. I really want to get a better rad. and an e-fan too....but I don't really have the money now because I had to spend like $400 on books. I'll hopefully be in the 13's with a 100mph trap in colder air. We will see though, I really like the low-end power this car makes...but in the upper rpm's I can't take it. I'm going to keep my eye out for some gt-40's, if I can get a deal I might go for it..
