what about adding 4.10's and 205cc heads then?
Just as the power aspect of the 205 heads being worth it or not?
I'll be back at the track tomorrow but w/ the MT DR's not the slicks. I;ll try shifting it higher and power shifting the gears and see where I am after that.

I had them in my SN with a GT40 heads, cobra intake, 302 cid and drove it everywhere and got @ 24mpg highway. I was a recruiter at that time and drove the car minumum 350 miles a week. Rpm's aren't bad at all. Hell, I'm going to be swapping them out for 4.56s, but that's just MY preference. But NO, 4.10s are NOT 'a pretty tall gear'.
