went to the track tonight, got in 4 ok runs, this was the first time with the new tune, k member, and coilovers, but for some reason i could not get the car to hook, (best 60 was a 1.73) it spun first gear all 4 runs. i was shifting about 6800rpms and the trany grinded a tad on a few shifts, and the race wight was 3350, but it was a decent night

with cool air, skinnies up front, weight reduction, and getting it to hook, i know i will break into the 11's and put air under a front tire!

hahaha, same here. Ive been trying to master the slipping. If anyone can chim in and show a difference between dumping and slipping, and their results that'd be awesome. ive seen some incredible differences in track times, nothing dramatic, but a tenth of a second can go a far way you know?
 
Man, those are some great times. 111 is a d@mn good trap speed. Thats about what my notch trapped, but I ran a crappy 12.78 with a horrible 1.89 60 ft. I think an 11.99-12.0 is in your near future with some skinnies & hooking up.... I said it before, & I will say it again, your car is 1 of the most impressive NA 2V's I have seen... Congrats!!!:nice:
 
Good times. What rpm are you launching at and trapping at? Your launch looked as if was either bad prep or too many rpms. Either way you are still got me on the mph. I was barely hitting 111 you are pretty much at 112.

When are you going to get Nick to get you a set of P.I heads to see what that thing can really run......:hide:

All joking aside Your car is a poster car for all NPI cars.

i was launching about 4500, i usually leave way higher! and hook, i think the prep was crap becasue its import weekend there so all the honda's were tearing the vht up

why do i need pi heads? NPI's work just fine!:p


just checked the DA from last night, it was 1325 at 8:00, this pass was at 7:53

If you were closer i would let you run my et drags and skinnies to get a good pass with the works on the car. I would love to see a NPI car go 11s. What rpm are you trapping. Are you leaving alot on the table with the 4.30s?

Im just saying i think with P.I heads you would have closer to 11.80 with that 60ft:D

haha thanks man! ive been thinking the same thing, but most guys i know have 4 lug foxes

i was trapping about 6200 so i have about 800rpms to play with
