If I bought a complete v6, around a 99, would it work in my 89 lx 5.0. If so would things like the computer and readiator work? What our other converns I may be missing. I'm sure the exhuast and tranny situation needs reconfigured. No big deal there, but what else? Would a earlier v6 be better than a 99 or 2000?

I dont think i've ever heard that idea before. What makes you want to swap in a V6? I know people have swapped in modular motors, so there is information on doing that.

Sounds like a lot of work for no real reward. The only reason I could ever see doing it was you got the V6 car for free and there weren't any 4 cylinder or 5.0 engines available anywhere.

The computer and all the computer wiring would have to be swapped over & mated to the fox body wiring. Unless your electrical skills far exceed the average, this would not be a good thing to do.

The 4 cylinder engine is capable of some real power when coupled with a turbo and proper intake. If I couldn't do a V8 swap, this is the route I would take.
