nope,actually they had 200 hp stock
in 86 they were $15,272 base price,and there were 3,382 made
0-60 was 6.8 secs.,1/4 mile 15.1@91 mph.

Crazy, and yet, we still can't squeeze these focus's (foci???) into the 200 horsepower range. What does the SVT focus have for horsepower?

svt focus had 170hp....but that is naturally aspirated....and svt dropped the focus 05 was the last year model i think,they didn't sell very well

I knew they dropped the lightning concept, but didn't know they tossed the focus as well...damn

yep with the srt4 making way more power and now the cobalt ss,i guess it just didn't really cut it...the focus svt's are pretty nice little cars though,and they handle very well....there are rumors of a turbo focus similar to the european rs with over 200 hp,but those are just rumors...

The SVO looks really clean Ben. I'd say aslong as everything matches, I'd work with the guy on bringin the price down just a bit for ****s and giggles and see if you can't get it a bit cheaper. But if your gonna get it. Get it this week so we can go cruisin. Later

If im not mistaken an 86 SVO had at least 205 Hp, not 175.

those cars love bigger turbos but the head gaskets don't. The mer-ker's are faster and lighter though. Same motor and tranny.
