I need to replace my stock goodyears and was considering going a little wider in the rear with a lower profile in the front and the rear. Any one have any experience with a similiar combination. My concerns are the 235 width in the front (don't want it to look to small) and the lower profile all the way around. Below are the tire specs compared to the stock size. I can compensate for the lower profile tires by dropping the car some more. Opinions appreciated.

Tire - 245/45/17 89W Dia - 25.67 Width - 9.61

Tire - 235/45/17 93W Dia - 25.28 Width - 9.33
Tire - 255/40/17 94W Dia - 25.08 Width - 10.16

you can put a set of 275/45Zr17 on the stock 99+ Gt rims.. Nittos also run alittle thinner then other tires...up front no more then a 265/45zr17....It will rub....I run the Nittos DRS 315/35ZR18... And that is a huge tire it is mainly for track use... Stret wise i ave a set of 275/45Zr18s.... I also have the Y2K "R"s they are a 9.5"
