Hey guys, was looking for pics of the 315 sized nitto drag radials. I have 275's right now I was gonna re use on my 10.5" rims when they get here but I was wanting to go to 315's for more of a steam roller look. My 275 555R's, are barely wider than the regular 255 555's I had on before those. Think the 315 DR would look too narrow as well? I also don't know how a 35 would look in the rear with 45's on the front. What do you guys think?

What do you have up front? I run the 245-45-17 up front on a 17X9 wheel and it looks a little stretched, out back I run the 315 nitto DR on a 17X10.5 wheel... it fits PERFECT. No buldge, no stretch... PERFECT. I've managed 60's in the mid 1.6 range on them too.

Thanks for the help Paul. Do you have a low angled pic of it or anything on the car so I can see what the tread width looks like on the car? For the fronts, I either have a regular set of the Nitto 555's in 225 size, or I have another 2 in the 255 size. The fronts are 9" so if your 245's streched, I'll probably use my 255's up front.

yeah same with me, i have 245's and they look a bit strech'd on (" rims. If i did it again id go 255's front. RIght now i have 275's on the rear, and they too are a bit strech'd. 315's would lok great, but wider and i think youd be hitting ur exhaust

Here's mine, they're not Nitto's, but they are 315's on a 10.5" rim :D. I would definitely go with 255/45's up front over the 245's.

I run 275/40's up front and they look great, but they rub a little at full lock.

Here's a pic that someone else posted on here before showing a comparison between the 245's on the car now, and 315's and 275's.

I'd love to see a pic of how 315's look on the car with good lighting. It seems everone's pics are really dark under the car and you can never see the tires width. It would be cool if someone would take a pic and light the car so there wasn't that darkness under the back.

Wow man, those are even the same wheels I just bought, cept with the black centers. Looks freakin mean on your car.

BTW where'd you get those cool looking lugs?

Thanks man, I've been thinking here lately that the black bullitts might have looked better on my car. Oh well, maybe next time I need tires . You'll definitely have to post some pics when you get them installed.

Anyways, I got the lugs from wheel replicas when I ordered my rims. $45 for the set + shipping. http://www.wheelreplicas.com/install.htm

I've been trying to get a good pic since I got my tires, but my camera sucks. I just got a new camera so I'll have to try again.

rockin thanks for stealin my pic :owned: :nice:

I've got 315/35/17 Nitto 555R's on a 11" wheels and they fit just about perfectly. Putting them on 10.5's will protect the lip a little better than my setup.

And if you want some well-lit pics of 315's here ya go, although I've posted these a bunch of times already. I have 275/40/17's up front, and they rub at full lock, but no biggie. They definitely kill your turning radius though, but at the auto-x & road course they kick major arse!! :nice:

If it ever stops raining here, I'll take some pics of the tires with some under car lighting so you can see them. Its hard to get any that way as they always come out black under there due to the lighting.

Nik, I would also go with the 255's up front. I'm running 245's like a couple other people, and will be stepping up a size next set. They should look perfect. I have 285/40's out back and they're also a little small. If you get 315's you might have to flip your quad shocks, and adjust your exhaust (but it'd be worth it).

EDIT: Nitto 555 Extremes all around

I didn't have to modify ANYTHING in the rear to run 315's other than slightly bending the e-brake cable down a little. Also, the reason I didn't go with 255's up front is because Nitto makes two sizes in the 255 and one is a smaller diameter than the 315, the other is larger. I didn't know how much of a change I could go with in diameter without screwing up the ABS. I know someone had issues when running different diameter tires on their car.

is this good enough lite?

there not nitto but they are 315 on the same 11in rim as jtkz13, I have 275 in front on a 9in rim and wish I had 245-255 (maybe 265) but 275 is just too big, they stick out a little, and the allign. is all crap. I had to flip the quad shock to get the rears to fit.

Not to sound bit chy and demanding, but I'd like to see a pic from the rear from about 25-40 feet away. Just to get a better perspective.

What is the backspacing of the wheels that everyone is running?
