I used to think automatics were okay for DD's and manuals better suited for fun; after the TurdBird's 4th gear started dropping out on me randomly on the highway, I've decided that manual trannies are the ONLY way to go in either case. Simplicity = :nice:

i did the pedals one weekend... 5 hours.. lots of breaks (florida heat)

tranny swap the next took about 11hrs... with just me doing all the work... and with lots of breaks again...

then about 1.5hrs adjusting the clutch...

thts koo man but the more i race my car the more i want me a auto the manual just isn't consistent enough a lil overrev here a shift miss there hittin the rev limiter all screw u at the track but for daily driving the 5 speed is the best imo.

well unless your running deep into the 9's id keep an 5 speed...if its a drag only car then go with a auto.....5 speed so much fun...auto = me :(
