My 5.0 HO won't start. It trys and cuoghs but won't catch. I have fuel and spark but no vac at all. I went through the nostart list but still can't find the problem.
It was starting to backfire and shift excessively on light hills and pop on downhill coasts. It acted like it ran out of gas and wouldn't start again after dieing on an offramp.
The motor was rebuilt 1500 miles ago and it has a new cat and many of the sensors were replaced too.
I suspect that the timing chain may be the cause, but I'm not sure.
What are the possible causes for no vacume?
