o/r x-pipe or h-pipe, which is better?

I'm gonna slap on some FFRP 3.73 gears and if I can work around the inspection, get the Mac shortie headers with an o/r H pipe this spring.

If you have emissions testing in your area ..... you will not be able to pass. You will have to swap the stocker back on for testing .... unless you get an aftermarket catted pipe.

If you don't have emissions testing .... there will probably still be a "visual" test. If they don't see cats, no pass. But you can find people that don't even look .... or if they do, they don't care & pass you anyway.

I'm in Wyoming and we no emissons law at all, yet i should say.I like the sound of the h-pipe but was also thinking would I get close to the same result by hollowing out the cats?
