My car was a 4cyl AOD, now a 5,0 T-5 which I unknowingly bought this way.
Has code 67 (among others 81,82,85, 29,32,41) and breaks up at 3500ishRPM, although I can drive it like grandma at 70mph.
I bought a T5 harness (current one is the AOD) and would like to get the O2 harness right. Today I pulled the O2 harness that is currently on the car, and from what I read in Black1987's recent post, it looks like my O2 harness (which has not been plugged into the ECU harness since I got the car) is from a pre 1988 (no jumpers).
The ECU harness appears to be a 91-93, as my wire colors match up exactly to Black1987's (took snaps of his pics as they were more clear than mine), and I believe he concluded that this wire scheme is a 91-93.
I am assuming that the pre 88 O2 harness and 91-93 ECU harness are not compatible, thus I have located a 93 O2 harness that I am picking up next week.
I will check the ECU at first opportunity, but can anyone tell me based on what is described above if it sounds like it could be fried?
Thanks!
Brian
