ugh you guys are scaring me, i have an ACC carpet with mass back i'm going to be laying down in a few days... none of the holes are cut for the seats or the shifter??? wtf??

No holes are cut, thats not a big deal but mine wasen't molded correctly on the drivers side and isn't cut in the right spot. I got it so you cant really notice, its just one of those things that I know its not right but I wasen't about to get another carpet and clearly acc doesn't do a thing for you.

I believe that the mass black is a much better carpet I have never seen one up close,but I never heard anything bad about it. word of advice:-1- get that thing out of the box to it looses that box memory creases -2- let it sit in sun for the day.Get pictures up so I can see.

Ya Its a sloppy made carpet,but the installation is all in the beholder.I guess that should be ACC motto.All in all I have it mocked up and looks nice.Man you don't know how hard it is to cut a brand new carpet. wait ya you do...

I'm looking into a rear seat delete,but I only want the lower part.I will have an aluminum bulkhead for the upper area.Now,the question is does anyone sell just the lower rear part by itself?

1991NotchbackLX-Have you found the dye a little cheaper?ready to buy,but i'm a cheapskate . How many cans do you think I will need to do the dash,rear quarter panels?

Anyone know of the stuff sold locally in Chicago.worth a shot

unfortunately I haven't found the SEM products any cheaper but I didn't do a whole lot of searching around before i bought it... i think i spent around 70 bucks for three cans of the color coat, two cans of adhesion promoter, and two cans of prep spray

you can buy a quart and spray it out of a gun as well, might save some cash that way

O.k cool.How many panels did you do on the car with 3 cans.whole car?just dash?hope it wasn't just dash...you said your buying alot of OEM stuff.What exactly did you dye?

I just got my pedal assembly in I ditched the "auto" setup.It was a pain in the di*k with that cage in there.I'm going to mock the dash and wiring harness up shortly.PICS Soon...

i haven't sprayed my center console or interior quarter panel trim yet, but i'm hoping three cans will be enough... i'm pretty confident that it will be

as of right now i only used half a can on my glove box door and handle... i used paint stripper on the sides of the dash where the door panels meet the dash and i also stripped the part that your knees hit when you're sitting in the driver's seat, and bought oem black dash pad and vents... if you have a grey/black dash you actually have an all black dash that was painted at the factory... stripping off the factory paint is extremely time consuming, but it was worth it for me

I heard about stripping the Grey off ,but wont it not match right?How many cans do you think it will take to do my full dash,center counsel,rear quarters...?So you dash you just stripped off the Grey?what did you use to do so?paint thinner?Are you going to end up painting over it anyway for match-up.

I have a bad feeling about dyeing this stuff.I'm a perfectionist and I don't think I'm going to be able to pull this one off...

Hey can someone please tell me whats going on here....?I have a Green and Grey cable it has its female connector on it still,but no wires in the female.It is attached to the harness under the dash toward the ECU.it should be located behind the glove box. It has mounts where they would hold on to the rear dash reinforcement. here are pictures...

you see how the other end is connected,but there is no wires...I know i didn't pull them all out.and both connectors on top of it.PLEASE HELP.

the black plastic underneath the grey paint is just shiny black plastic, it looks like it was freshly Armor-Alled, to me it matches fine... if i were you i'd get 4 cans just to be safe... on the sides of my dash i used Krud Kutter Graffitti remover from Wal-Mart to strip the grey paint off, it worked wonders but took a lot of effort... i won't be painting over the black, i like the way it looks now

hey 1991 you know anything bout them wires I just posted about?I need some help I don't remember if they were even used,and if them female plugs on there are not just caps from the factory. PLEASE HElp

unfortunately i've never had the harness out of my car and i've never had a reason to play with those particular plugs, i'd suggest posting in tech where guys like jrichter and hissin5.0 will come to your rescue sorry i couldn't be of more help

hey have you test fit those seats yet? I did the exact same thing and after welding brackets onto the stock brackets I had a heck of a time lining them up to bolt in. second, they lasted two weeks. it was about as comfortable as driving on cement blocks and I only drive my car maybe once a week at most

Yes,I had them both installed since making the brackets they fit perfect.Harnesses fit fine as well.They weren't to comfortable at first,but I had my girlfriend redo the seat cover backing with a little thicker cushion.Don't feel like a "cement block" anymore more like a gokart.hahaha I haven't drove it yet as you can tell so I don't know the real comfort level.I think I can deal with it.

Well i'm sick as a dogg...so while being held captive in my own home I decided to spend some money.I ordered half of my fuel system.damn...stuff is expensive.

anyway I got steered away from the interior again,and I'm going to try and finish up the trunk.I'm looking for someone locally with a bead roller.
