Oil pan job leads to what else

Hey Team -
I am gearing up for a big weekend on my back. My oil pan plug has been stipped and re-threaded so many times that it is now essentially worthless at keeping in the oil. While I am replacing the oil pan, what other maintenance projects should I tackle while the motor is raised? Motor mounts? clutch? Think general maintenance, not performance.
My mustang is in great condition, not as great as foxmustangman's but it's condition is solid. Just starting to show its age is all, so what else can i do to keep it strong?
Thanks for helping me build my own work order -
Dan

I am pretty sure you are not going to be able to jack the motor up high enough to get the oil pan out of the car, the transmission will hit the trans tunner.

You will either have to pull the trans or pull the engine. If you pull trans there isnt a good pivot point to jack the motor up with.

Just from my and my friends expierences. It may be able to be done. if you ca unbolt the oil pump as the same time as the pan it may come out. The problem is getting enough room to get the front sump area of the pan to get past the oil pump and k-member.
