P&P C&L plenum

So its finally summer and I have a lot more free time to work on my car. I've got the C&L plenum for my 04 gt. I noticed that the inside was pretty rough. Would polishing/smoothing it out help with gains? Or does the roughness help create turbulance.

Unless it's got casting 'leftovers' like the OEM one, I doubt that knocking down the roughness would do anything for you.

while a smoother surface would help, i don't think you will see much of a gain. i personally wouldn't risk screwing up my plenum.
