Ive been having this problem of the front shoe on my pass side rear not sitting properly and causing it to destroy shoes and drums in a matter of weeks. i thought the backing plate was worn, so i went thorugh the trouble today to put a new one in, and same thing. i can, however get the shoes to sit properly by hand, but the front comes out when the parking brake is used. so i took the drum off, made them sit properly and has my brother pull the parking brake, and it the front shoe came off again. So i guess ive figured out its soemthing to do with the parking brake, but what? ive been chasing this problem for months now, any help appreciated. btw, the brake does not and never did hold the wheels anyway...
