Patching Drag Radials?

i have plugged a ton of tires, never a problem

i would think the rate of failure of a plugged or patched tire is probably no worse than that of a non patch/plugged tire. I never have seen anyone blow one out myself.


go with some tubes(if they make them in 17's)if you are worried

I have seen just as many patches fail as I have plugs. Consequently, I have seen just as many plugs succeed as patches.

It all comes down to how qualified and experienced the technician is who installs the patch or plug.
