That's the worst advice I've ever heard!!!!!Limit the amount of “garage beers”!
I have never had my car apart to that extent, but in a lot of car shows I watch when they start a build or are trying to complete a build with a lot of work outstanding, there is always a huge written punch list that they work from to keep themselves on track. It serves as a documented reminder of what needs to be done and you can cross off things as you go. May make things easier. Otherwise, like you said, you'll be all over the place, going from task to task without any sense of organization.
Yeah, make a 'hit list'. Things that need to be fixed or fiddled with. Just leave room below to add to it, cause you will add stuff you find that's suspicious or just FUBAR.
My adventure started with a coolant leak at the timing cover and an oil leak at the back of the intake, escalated to pulling the engine and discovering the seal around the shifter is melted. Now I am yank'n the console.

I finally bought a dry erase board and haven’t on the wall in the garage. Great place to keep my running list of things to do to the cars.
I'd have to have a dry erase 'wall' for the Junk Pyle

Thanks fellas. I'm debating on how I can get my money back from what I paid for the door panels and rear seats before they found mine. They are just taking space in my packed garage. I feel like trying to trade for something might be an easier route to take to recoup my money. I thought about posting them on eBay but looks like they take a huge percentage of the sale. What do you fellas think?
It's been a year already since I've got the car home and still not back on the road. Last couple of weeks I had some time to work on it. I installed some new door actuators, but they didn't work out so ordered some universal ones and those worked great. Replaced the key locks and got my door panels back on the car. I still have some interior trim to get installed along with the rear seat. Got my computer installed back in place as well. Replaced the rear drum brakes due to a leaking cylinder.
While doing the brakes I noticed something off with the ground effects. Looks like they didn't install all the brackets that I provided. The ones you have to rivet in. They just used some double sided tape. So now I have to remove them, order the brackets again and install them correctly. Seems like every time I work on it, I find other issues. Hope to get it back on the road soon though.

Yep, I have a pile of parts for my car that I need to install. Steering rack, new front rubber brake lines, etc.
Just kinda bored of that car to be honest. I’ve had a foxbody in some sort of fashion in my possession since I was 17, I’ll be 45 in an about a month.

I had bought a bigger ski boat than the one my " wife at the time" and I had had... ... Her Toronado would not pull the new boat.... Kinda got the cart in front of the horse here.
Purchased a Chevy stepside that had come from the factory with a 454/turbo 400 for a decent price that " needed a little work" ... It looked like a leaky radiator so I was going to fix it just so I could " take my new boat to the lake" and then slowly get to
the other items..... yeah sure..
A week later I was wire wheeling down the " bare Frame of the truck" to paint it..... I never stopped finding things wrong with it everytime I took an " assembly" off that needed work... The truck became a " true Frame off resto" ...... My boat sat alot in the garage for a couple of years....

The 455 Big Block Toranado?Door panels and other interior finally back on. Few more pieces to reinstall and will be ready for a deep cleaning. Then have to tackle the exterior.
