Pics of GTs with bumper cut for tailpipes

Cobra bumper is the way to go but plan on keep stock tail pipe tip size fr maybe 2-1/2" at most. My tips are 3-1/4" Magnaflow and they are a bit large for the Cobra openings. I tucked them in a bit so it still looks good.

This is how my old 89 GT looked...i refused to cut the bumper so I did this with help from MAC'n89blckstng haha it looked OK but scraped on a steep incline

Whew...I was scared that I would read this thread and not see people telling him not to do it.
So many good GT bumpers have fallen to hack job tailpipe cutouts.

It sucks when ppl ruin factory Mustang covers. You can't get an aftermarket front or rear cover that says "Mustang" or "Mustang GT" on it. So if you are going to Hack a FORD cover DON'T!!! Buy a Taiwann cover and do it to that one.
Well I guess I'm going to go back to dumps after inspection, I really didn't want to do it I was just considering it. Thanks guys... by the way, the Hello Kitty muffler tip is from my sister's car
