BTW, I'm an anti-cork gasket type of person. Cork is getting hard to come by. If we continue to use it for gasket material (which never really works), the price of wine is going to sky rocket. I like some wine from time to time.

90-95 T-5's (except Cobra's) .... which were Borg Warner's .... were rated at 300 ft/lbs.Aliate X said:

There are obvious differences through the years posted .... but that sums up the torque ratings.
Question...Why are you holding what looks like a stock lifter, but you have a Comp Cams retro kit there which should be link-bar lifters? 
Looks great, tho! Looks like you should have it together in a week or two.
Edit, I see they are stock lifters....You didn't buy the spider hold-down kit did you? Those require a special cam, just FYI.

by the way, i found out the the deal with smaller base circle cams ... it has nothing to do with converting to hydraulic rollers or anything like that. it has to do with the amount of lift you are going with and not pushing the lifters too far out of their bores.

I dont think it was done until the late 90's or early 2000's (earlier than 06 I mean). The ratings did go up from model to model like posted though due to changes. The t5 still finds itself in the mustang even today in the v6 models.
