Planning a rebuild and h/c/i upgrade this winter, and just have a few questions for your guys.
I'm looking at a performer intake and either gt40x's or afr 65cc's. I'll have to upgrade my maf/tb as well but I'm not sure how far to go - everyone seems to say 75mm maf w/ 65mm tb - does this make sense (seems weird to me)?
What cam would you guys recommend for this setup?
Also I was thinking of a pro m 75mm maf but I'm not sure if I should get the 19# calibrated model or the 24# and upgrade my injectors too. Are 19#s cool for a stock block 306 h/c/i? Not planning any power adders in the near future.
As you can see from my sig my setup is pretty basic. Any other essentials you guys recommend while I have this thing apart this winter?

Since your upgrading your mass air, and your getting a h/c/i, if a injector upgrade is not necessary, it would probably be reccommended. I dunno maf size, probably 75mm with 24#'rs.

I'd go with some AFR heads. I'm going to personally go with AFR 185's when Senior Project comes around next year. Someone will have to comment on cam and intake selection, I can't really tell you what would be best. AFR is great heads though. For rebuild, your stock bottom end will probably be fine, I'd say use ARP bolts for the rods and head studs. Personally, I would add a little 100 shot to the combination, the motor will be able to take it fine, especially with factory forged pistons. :) You said no power adders though, but thats what I would do.
