Thanks Tim65GT. Now Igot the urge to go out to the garage and check, but the two inches of ice from the storm we're having will put an end to that real quick:mad: I knew I should've stayed in Florida.......

What type of paint did you use? That came out real nice.

I checked out the 2nd Salvage yard AOD. I think it has a bad pump. I put 7-8 quarts in it and the dipsick still shows the same level after starting it up and running it throught the gears. No action in any forward gears or reverse.

Since I have to pull it out again, I'm just going to have the trans shop rebuild it. I'm still better off having this one rebuilt than the last one. I want to put it in and have it stay in there for a while. Removing it is one thing, but it's a lot of effort getting that thing back in there with the car up on jack stands and laying on your back.

For great AOD info check out network54.com and clickclickracing.com. Along with Broaderperformance.com, you're going to find all the info you'd ever need on the AOD and all its cousins. These sites have been blowing my mind lately with all the AOD info I've been absorbing.
