im going to be getting some gt-40 heads ported from thumper...

now my question...is my Trick flow street intake a good intake or should I sell it and get the cobra intake???

im lost!!!!! Im also going to get the intake ported, either trick flow or cobra which ever one i decide to use w/ yalls help!!!!

thanks for any help :nice:

i've always like the edelbrocks. my brother and I are building a gt40 iron powered engine, and he may go with the edlebrock knockoff, typhoon for cheap and port the **** out of it.

from what I understand the cobra is kinda old now, and not the best buy for performance, and I don't know too much about the trick flow.

Which intake is best is not always easy to tell. Take a look at this dyno test comparison - the higher curves are using a stock Explorer intake and the lower curves are a Track Heat. Car had TW heads, AFM N-41 cam, shorty headers, 65mm TB, 73mm MAF.

HP (2,000-5,600 rpm): Explorer - 204RWHP average & 301 peak
Track Heat - 195RWHP average & 275 peak
TQ (2,000-5,600 rpm): Explorer - 276RWTQ average & 303 peak
Track Heat - 264RWTQ average & 307 peak
