Power Brake Conversion

I'm working on the conversion to add an '87 5.0 power brake booster and MC into my '68 coupe. The only question I have would be what line outlets are used on the '87 3-port MC? What does the 3rd line do? I'm gathering that 2 lines are for the front brakes and one is for the rear brakes. Not sure thats correct, just guessing...

Which ports do I use in my car?

Ok, wonderful! Now I understand how it works with the 3rd line involved... Thank you, but now my question returns to which port goes to the rear brakes on my conversion?

I'm just going to plug the 3rd line on the bottom of the MC, and if I can ASSume the MC's are similar in plumbing, then the rear port is for the front brakes and the fron port is for the rear drums.

Hoping someone can confirm OR deny this for me.
