I have two questions i hope some one can help i have a 92 coupe car that has gt-40 heads of a cobra bored out , gt-40 intake,70 tho,65 mas air ,24 # inject e303 cam 3.55 gears out back and a 255 foul pump .its only making 254rwhp and 296 torq does that sound right.
sounds pretty much in line with others...'bored out' really doesn't mean anything...were they poted/polished? What was the condition of the heads? What are the flow numbers post porting?
That's not bad for rear wheel power. There might be some more in there with some tuning. You are at close to 300 hp at the flywheel. A car at 2900 lb or so, running say, 12.90's to 13.10's is only making 275 hp at the wheels or so, per the common calculators. You should be right there.
i dunno , seems a litle low to me, get that thing tuned and u should pick up some more power, i thinking you should be in the 275 range and 325 torque .
