Do you need to get new valve springs if you get the vt stage 2 cams??

From VT's site:

VT Stage 1 N/A
SOHC

SOHC-Excellent torque. Better low and mid range torque with more power. Will work with stock computer with tune. Valve springs recommended but not required. RPM range 2500-6000. 3.55+ gear recommened. Noticeable idle.

VT Stage 2 N/A
SOHC

SOHC-Hot street cam, needs 3.55+ gears. 2400+ stall. Intake, exhaust, computer and spring upgrade recommended. Agressive idle. RPM range 3000-6500+.

Who has a set of cams installed and has to go through emissions? No problem passing?

I am planing to do cams over the winter and am debating between VT Blower and MPH.
I sure I will end up reading every thread on the net about them before making a desicion. Any one with either of these cams have a sound clip?
