Chased all the threads. Brass brushed the mating surface. Cam bolt and thrust bearing bolts will be here tomorrow. Let the reassembly commence.
And. Cobra ABS pump showed up today. Progress is slow but ongoing.

Torqued. Spun twice. And oiled down. Like we all hope to be.

Getting the timing chain cover to go nicely over the curved part of the oil pan gasket was a royal pita. I did put some black RTV in the corners where the cover meets the pan and a bit under the oil pan gasket. It's the nice full rubber one with the metal inserts. So hopefully no leaks.
Also, per the Ford manual. No RTV on the water pump. Good gaskets and some gasket tack.

Had this over at a friend's place soaking in an ultrasonic cleaner. Wire wheeled all the remaining rust.
Hit it with some silver wheel paint. Hopefully it stays looking that good.

Set the timing and you'll never look at that again.....but it does look good 
Cleaning up the spindles.
Be careful with wire wheels, kids.
