How about the 4 eye cars, will all the suspension stuff bolt up on them from the 87-93's?? I have never had any dealings with them, also this one has a 4 cyl 5 speed in it, are the k members the same as a V8??? the engine, tranny swap and suspension upgrade will be first on the list. How about keeping it EFI?? Would this be a good route to take or should I just put a carb on it?

Suspension up to 05 will work. Tranny from the four banger will work, just need v8 bell. K member is the same.

Ok, thanks, I am still undecided, but will probably 5 lug this car and put a 94-95 SN95 rear axle under it with disc brakes. Just making sure that all the stuff was the same

Yeah thats a good starting point. I have a 86 notch that was a 4 banger. It has a 302 out of who knows what (PO did the swap), but everything bolts up. On the V6 cars the K member is different.
I'm going to run SN95 brake spindles and 04+ brakes up front, running a complete LSC rear end.
You can use just about everything from year to year. I went carbed since I don't have a donor car. If you go EFI you may want to consider a donor instead of trying to piece it together.
Good luck!!

I plan on going carb, I figure with the EFI it would be a bigger pain to wire up and such, carb will simplify things alot better!! Will any 302 from any ford make a good donor motor?

If you have a donor car with wiring harness and a good diagram its not really not that hard to go EFI. I have the entire undercarriage ,drive line, fuel system, brakes, master cyl and booster,AOD ect sitting in my 4 eye. I had a complete 90 GT that was wrecked and swapped everything over.
