Got the majority of the cage welded in place yesterday. Had my buddy come over and start teaching me some tig welding. Got most of it also painted hoping to have this car back together and running for Saturday’s bridge wars if I don’t work this weekend.

Got the cage completely finished last weekend and painted up. Got the interior all back in and the 5pt harness installed. Also had some time to put the spool in the car along with the c clip eliminators that I’ve been needing to put in the past year or two.

So this weekend was a total flop for me at the track. Got there and all setup made my first pass and was told I was leaking fluid, come to find out the new c clip eliminators I just got installed were leaking. After a few hours of fixing that I went back up for my second pass. Waited from 745-9pm in the lanes before I could make another hit (gotta love the grudge world). Went to make my second pass and car left strong and then fell flat on its face look down at gauges and found dome pressure reading 0psi. Only ran the 1/4 on 7lbs of boost. Got back to the trailer and looked over everything and this is what i found.

My dome sensor blew out the top of the wastegate. I guess when I went to thread tap the top of the gate it wasn’t good. Threads on sensor are still good as they are stainless I’m gonna try tonight to get that fixed.

This sticker represents me to a tee right now.

Been battling this crazy misfire on the car here lately anything more then 9lbs of boost and it starts missing. Come to find out the ford stock ignition doesn’t really like boost. So I ended up grabbing a 6AL box and throwing that on there and now I can run around on 22lbs and not have any misfires. It is a glorious feeling to crack the car on the street with 22lbs of boost again.
