wow my thread is dead, well anyways i will be taking a compression test to determine if the motor is hurt i hope not. it could be a valve spring or pushrod , or ignition problem i doubt i will get that lucky. ill let you guys know tonite , if its valvetrain related it will probally be a good time to get rid of the e cam and continue the quest for 11s on the motor

also is there anyone good with photo shop? I would like to see what it would look like dark shadow gray and the draglites blacked out . if anyone can do it let me know ill try to get a good pic thanks guys

well i took a compression check last night , everything looks good. ill move on to taking the valve covers off and check everything and re check timing. hopefully something simple.

i think your car is awesome man, a lot of progress threads get overlooked without pictures for some reason, but keep posting up and keep us updated, i know i'm following along at least, haha... especially when that beast has a fresh new coat of paint

thanks , it wont be long it will be geting some paint . i just want to get it running perfect. soon as this problem im having is fixed it will make a trip to the dyno to see what it puts to the wheels

ok guys havent been on in a while, took my car at the end of april to be tuned by charlie booze jr . i was happy to find out i ran the 12.58@107 with only 3/4 throttle and on the dyno i picked up 20hp car made 298rwhp with the little combo, and even charlie was impressed. and that was on a real hot day , so you can say its a 300rwhp car, there are some combos with trick flow hci that dont put down that much and this is on a mustang brand dyno.

i havent had it back to the track yet its time to redo the rear , i have a bearing going bad or the gears are wore. i ordered strange 31 spline , c clip elimantors, and there 5 lug. so i will be going 5 lug and picked up a 31 spline trac loc to rebuild with new 410 gears and i will be updating as i get the rest of the stuff and then head to track for a 11 sec timeslip lol hopefully
