Hey guys after watching countless YouTube videos, reading through this whole thread, I’ve decided to attempt this on my 2000 V6, a few months ago I picked up a 94 5.0 5 speed donor car for cheap, mechanically car is pretty nice, hasn’t been on the road since 2011 so I’m sure it will need some things touched up, but car runs great, has a older cat-back with off-road h-pipe on it made by a company called MAC, as of right now I have the trans out and the catback off, soon I will start to remove everything probably starting with motor and k member, then onto electrical, I plan to put all electrical bits into totes and label everything, along this process I will video the removal of everything on this car as I’m not very familiar with 5.0 cars and this will be my first time doing something to this extent, my 2000 V6 is a car my dad bought new in college and has owned ever since, I have always loved this car, eventually it was passed down to me with 220,000 miles and I drove it for 6 months before the motor blew up, I have now owned it for 3 years and not been able to drive it, I plan to keep the 5.0 I’m swapping in stock as I think it will be plenty of power for me for now and I would like to keep it as reliable as I can for while so I can enjoy it plenty, thank you to 99fiveoh for the incredible attention to detail and posting everything, I will be following everything you posted along the way!
