PTV Problems with Stage 1 or 2 Cams on Stock bottom end?

Has any of the performance improved people had PTV problems with the stage 1 or 2 cams?

Not with the VT engines cam's

I dont know if you are referring to the VT or not but if you are I think there the only cams that I have herd of that have NEVER had an issue with PTV clearances. Although it seems like Comp has there 270’s worked out.

I am fairly certain there are a handful of people that have PI shortblocks on Modular Depot that installed the XE270AHs and found later that they had PTV contact. Some of them were very little and didn't know it until they pulled the heads off of the car for other reasons.

So the consensus is.........VT = Good and no problems with the sock shotblcck?

vt stage 2's you will have no problem with i just got mine installed and they are great. I researched the hell out of this topic and with vt's you'll have no ptv. With the comp's there have been many people saying they have contact. Comp is very good and sending new cams though but the labor is exspensive on cams.
