Put on some new stuff

Well guys, as some of you may or may not know, i bought a new stang last saturday. Its all black with black interior. its a 95 with only 53,239 miles on it. I recieved my smoked headlights today and put them in. boy do they look beautiful. this sunday im waking up at 5 in the morning to begin my progress on the switch over. I have quite a fun list to play with. Lets see what is going down on sunday:
Cold air intake
Mass air meter
throttle body
intake manifold
spark plugs
spark plug wires
headers.....im dreading that sooooooooo much
O/R h pipe
flowmaster catback
lowering springs
rims
aluminum driveshaft
180* thermostat

I already put the short throw in only bc i DONT drive with long throws. The good thing that came in this car is:
31 spline mosers
3.73s
31 spline auburn differential
t-lock

I was happy that i dont have to take out my gears and swap them bc then i wouldnt have enough time to do a lot of stuff.

Sounds like a plan! I recommend you install things one at a time and then make sure the car runs ok afterwards. This way you can pinpoint any problems early without having to search around on 4-5 different parts. For example, I would install the cold air kit and MAF, make sure the car runs ok, then install the TB and run the car again. It just makes potential problems quicker to find.

Should be a fun project. Get before and after pics for us. And one last thing, don't wreck this one........LOL

werd, it takes a really long time trying to find out what the problem is with more than one mod added on.

I was just gonna say this...AT least do no more than 2 or 3 things.

It took me 8 years to get the Gears, Exhaust, pulleys, and other basics. Then, in one shot, I had the blower, intake fuel system, injectors, TB, MAM, and a few other things put on...(March last year) I have since been trying to detail everything out, fine tune things, add or modify things that the shop did wrong, etc. I have only added brakes and balancer (and upgrade injectors) since then, so that I can have the car running smoothly before the next set of upgrades.

Gotta do Tranny rebuild soon.

One more thing that will help.....take LOTS of pictures BEFORE you start tearing things apart. I can never tell you how many times that has saved my arse!!
