I am in the process of finishing up a carb conversion.. I have a 91GT.. Removed the computer & engine harness, all EFI stuff, A/C, and Smog..
Installed a edelbrock Performer 289 intake, New Holley 600cfm carb, Distributor from an '85GT, MSD 6a & Blaster Coil, Mac Longtubes, no-name X-pipe I got off of Ebay, had Flowmaster cat-back, Holley Blue pump and braided -6an line front to back..

I am completing the fuel lines today, but I dont know what to do about the vent line coming off of the tank..I already threw out the old lines.. I still have the vapor canister if I need to re-install it, but i dunno what good it'll do being there is no smog equipment..
if i need to run the line back to the canister, can i just use rubber hose being there is no fluid running through it?

other options i have been told is to just let it vent into the air.. like leave the small length of hose coming off of the tank un plugged as is.. but i dunno if that is going to cause a lot of fumes..and what if someone is smoking a cigarette near my car? lol

next was to get a vented gas cap, but cant find anyplace that sells them..

any ideas??

Depends if po po will be lookin under the hood at all. If so, leave the charcoal cannister but move it back behind the PS shock tower and run the hose to it. Run the other side of the hose to wherever you wish though it looks better to have it run to the air cleaner.

Or just cap the line. Nothing interesting happens. One time the cap fell off but I'm not sure if it was internal pressure or it just fell off.
