My buddy just picked up a 00 True Blue Saleen, its got a interesting background, considering it is an automatic and it was a Bullit before Saleen did there transformation. Ok question is he wants to do the pulley swap and CAI. What is the best CAI for a Saleen. I used a modified MAC CAI on mine, but I think there are better ones out there. Would a inside the fenderwell work better, due to less engine heat? Does Chicane make the RIP kit?? Where is the best place to purchase the 10 pulley, and will he need to jump to 42lb injectors?? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!!! Jake

Not sure what he's got, but:

All Bullitts were 2001
All were 5-speed
True Blue wasn't available in 2000

I remember reading SOMEWHERE that no Bullitts were converted to Saleens either... Has he contacted Saleen? Would be interesting to see documentation on this one!

As far as intakes, the Bullitt used a different manifold with unique throttle body location... Or is this car S/c'd?

Oops ok maybe it a 01 then. Yeah he called Saleen, and thats what they told him. I dont know, Ill have to find out more. Ill get the build number too!!!
