Questions on Dyno Tune

Haven't gotten the car dyno tuned yet - I've been working on a superchips handheld tuner with a 91 octane tune. I would like to take the car in for a dyno tune. I've got all the mods in my sig, what gains would be had? I know my SCT doesn't take into account any of the exhaust and intake mods done to the car. Would it even be worth the money for the tune or should I just buy a SCT Livewire tuner.

With your mods you will only see a few bumps in peak HP but the entire range is what you will be looking at. With your intake and exhaust mods you will get a smoother run up through the RPM range. Is the intake polished?

You should also get a separate tune for the nitrous.

You can get the Livewire if you want to have the ability to upgrade/update tune on your own. Just be aware of the trial and error aspects of tuning yourself although you can research a bit to get the base tune and work from there.

the typhoon is not polished - although I took a grinder and dremel to it to clear out the flash garbage and match it a bit better to the ports/plenum/tb
Would I be better off just spending the money to buy the livewire? I have the SCT handheld from a few years back that only allows 91 octane tune - can't play with timing or A/F ratios or shift points on the level I would like.

It's all up to you really. I preferred a professional tune and left it at that. If I try to tweak I would just make things worse. I also traded my XCal2 for a 4 bank chip since I wasn't going to datalog or tweak the tune. I'm just hands off once it was done since I doubt I could get it any better.
