Quick panhard bar question

Got my springs in and well i indeed need a panhard bar. BMR make a good one cause its priced pretty good.

BTW, is a panhard bar all i need? What is up with the relocation brackets and the upper bar brace, i dont need that do i? Just the bar?

And i dunno how the install went for you guys but half the things i read on the internet was just scare talk. The upper strut mounts didnt fall apart on me and it went really smooth and no popping or creaking. Just gotta get that bar and a alignment and im all set.

Which BMR bar are you talking about? I assume it's the adjustable one with the urethane bushings? That's ok, but the adjustment point is less than ideal. The highest forces on the PHB are in the middle of the PHB, and that adjustment piece is the weakest part of the bar. The other issue I have with it is that the bar is made out of steel, no reason to not use aluminum. But it looks like a good unit if you don't have any serious corner carving aspirations.

My personal choice would be the Maximum Motorsports unit, but dealing with rod ends can be a pain.

Oh no, not with this car. I just want my wheels to be aligned properly and after this will be the midpipe and cai/tune and wheels then ill be done with this car. The 94 is the track demon.

J&M makes an aluminum panhard bar. I have it with rod ends, and notice no increase in NVH.

BigCat, how long have you had it and have you noticed much wear on the rod ends (clunking and the like)?

Edit: Looking at the J&M PHBs, I like them, they all look better than the BMR equivalent.

i dont remember exactly, but it has been at least a year and a half.

I dont notice an clunking. I have not looked at the rod ends recently to see if there is any wear, but with no noise, i doubt its much.
