RACE FLOW DEVELOPMENT HEADS???

heard about these heads from a friend of mine. i went to their website and found no specs about them!! this angered me very much, they are the RFD heads for the 2V mustang gt's. does anyone know anything about them?? speculations are telling me that they may be better than the patriot heads? but i dont know, PLEASE HELP!!

I haven't heard anything about the RFD heads, but Livernois is in the stages of producing a PI 2 valve head with the area around the swirl dam and behind it welded up and smoothed out. This will bump your compression, and a source from Livernois on another board claims that it will help control detonation and get big gains. There is supposedly an article in the new MM&FF that claims 440hp on a 2v build up by Livernois with its "new" heads.

The Livernois heads soud promising, but one thing to consider.

That 440hp 4.6 was on an engine dyno, so those are crank numbers. It was using a stock PI intake, fresh bottom end, Livernois heads, I beleive custom spec'd cams, Hooker longtubes, no acessories, and it was utilizing a FAST engine managment system.

Still a stout motor, but it would be tamed a bit once in the car.

Is the site you are talk about Race Flow Development - Cylinder Heads & Manifolds If so, Curtis Boggs the owner does not believe in advertising flow numbers. he looks more at getting the CSA and velocity correct. He does some very nice work. Call him and talk with him about you needs.
