when I revv up the motor with the throttle the dizzy makes a weird ticking noise and when i let off the gas at idle it doesnt make that noise. My friend told me it might be a dizzy bearing gone bad? any other ideas?
Thanks

When the dizzy bushing starts to go south, the interface between the PIP components is often compromised - look for signs of contact between the two. You can also kinda wiggle the shaft and see if it feels like it has slop.

Good luck.
