I was wondering if putting on a Cobra rear bumper would give me more clearance than my GT bumper for my slicks. 28" tall, rolled lip, quads removed and as it sits now 1" clearance in front of slick and 1" on rear of slick with some modifying to the rear bumper. No problems with width just over all circumferance and that scares me that with tire expansion on the big end it will rub.

Yes the Cobra rear cover will give you a little more added clearance to the rear of the tire, in the front the GT scoops hinder you a little. You can bend the mounting tab where the scoop attached to help pull the lip in flat which will give you a little more clearance.
If you are running a MT ET DRAG I beleive they will grow a max of 1.5" at 150mph
