Rear Main Seal question

LMAO - I sure missed the boat on that one, didnt I. I think i got us all going with the clutch stuff.

I am gonna run with David's line of thinking and say that i posted the info for future searchers (with manual trannies) who come across this thread.

Yeah, torque converter won't mind a little oil on it.

Last weekend i removed the 5.0 from a mustang with an AOD that had a leaking rear main. Small amount of oil on the flexplate, small puddle at bottom of trans bellhousing...but nothing on the converter.

i just did my rear main. the car was leaking like a stuck pig smoking like crazy on hard throttle and they wouldnt let me run through tech if i didnt change it for the 4 hours of work its def not putting off
