I've just came across this website in search for help on my 2007 base model convertible mustang. The issue that I'm having is that my rear quarter windows wont go down or up. I've figured out the issue is the rear quarter window regulators. However, I've also found out that you cannot order that part anymore so I bought a repair kit for the regulators and gave it to my automotive teacher to see if he can repair it for me. He ended up telling me that he couldn't repair it himself due to the certain kind of rivets that need to be used. He stated that he needs a special kind of rivet gun that crimps the end of the rivets and he said he doesn't have that. Does anyone know a simple solution to this issue or anywhere that sells these regulators? Or where I can find a cheap rivet crimping gun? Thank you all.
