removed smog pump.. what size belt do i need?

Are you still running your a/c? If so, sorry I can't help but have that exact same question. What length belt is needed for a smog bypass with the a/c still on the car?

I heard that the smog pump is there to pump air into the cats, Is this true???

Cause I don't have cats on my car anymore but I still have the smog pump, Should I remove it and if I do how hard of a job is it and will I gain anything doing it????
