Hey guys I've fallen in love with the wingless look so I'm going to remove my spoiler and see if it looks alright for my ride.

I've done a search and maybe I didn't use the right search options but I can't seem to find a thread where people have talked about the grommets they used for pluggin the holes in their trunklid.

Where did you guys get these grommets? Oh if anyone's wingless and wanna sport some pictures have at it

One last thing on the door sticker what part of the code is your exterior color would like to pick up a bottle of touch up paint for the grommet and would like the exact color

Thanks

at pepboys, if you have them where you live, i bought 2 sets of black plastic plugs, the part numbers are:
45490
45812

i am going to get some Dark Shadow Gray touch up paint from the dealership and then paint the plugs and seal them to the holes with silicone sealant.

I think the finding a v6 stang the same color that will swap is the way to go. I would have a hard time just living with pluging the holes with plugs.

Also, if you haven't done it already, be very careful when removing the wing. Mine was stuck to the decklid for somereason and when I lifted it up, it actually pulled a small chunk of plastic out of the decklid. Luckily my S281 spoiler covers up the damage.

The grommets will be temporary as I will be filling the holes if I decide to keep it wingless. I would do a V6 trunklid swap but I'd have to buy it and keep the stocker if I went that route. Trying to keep all the stock parts in case I need to put her back to original for some reason.
