Will a roll-bar make any car handle better? Straight-line and around the turns? Or it it just for saftey reasons?

How fast can you go untill its required at the drag-strip?

I just picked up a new welder. It's pretty cool it's about the size of shoe-box. Well I was thinking about welding one in before I get new carpet. Just for a winter project. Like a 6-point what do you guys think? Will it help me performance wise or hurt me?

it does stiffen the car up (esp with verts). do make sure everything framewise on the car is plumb before installing one; much like subs it will solidify the geometry - be it good or bad.
