Running 77MM MAF Calib for 24s on stock 19lbs? Will It work? Other ?s

i think the dizzies are the same (still a TFI system). someone said there was a coil change at some point, but i never confirmed that.

plug wire: depends. how bad is it ripped? i would say yes replace it, but if it is superficial, you could probably dabble some silicone or something on it for the time being. always pull wires by the boots (not that you did not, just general info). i have ripped a few in my day - where i could not reach the boot and those stupid wire pullers dont reach or work. i snapped the handle in two on one pair.
dab of dielectric grease inside the boot can help with future removal too.

oh i got ya, sorry for my mis-read. i doubt the plug being messed up (and possibly not firing) would toss a code. you would have known if it was not firing....as long as the metal tip of the plug was in the plug wire boot and making halfway decent contact, i bet it was functioning pretty well.

the easy way to find out is to pull codes. you are probably expecting a code for a miscalibrated MAF (whatever that causes), but you can see if there are others....
