i have the pi intake swap coming with the plates and im getting my npi heads ported and polished with a 5 angle job,new valves, and everything, now should i go with pi cams or should i go with something else, any recomends? i want some more top end and because have a 100 shot with 3.73`s, and one more will i need a tune or something special since that is a lot of air being flowed? and with all this will it produce more #`s than a pi swap?

BTW please i dont wanna hear about that i should of just did the pi swap:Zip2:

How about custom grinds since you have NOS and the PI intake?

call comp cams and tell them what you just told us! They don't charge anymore for different grinds. And the comp 265h is a good NPI cam if you don't want to call.

the best way to make power is always with a custom grind.. that is made just for your application.. i would give comp a call.. and ask what they say..

The PI cams are a cheap way to get some top-end. They will tach to about 5700+ rpms but the low-end will be almost the same. However, if price is no object go with a set of custom grind cams.

just curious why you're not going with the pi heads since you're going to be spraying. i mean p&p npi heads are gonna flow just as good as pi's, but the juice will love the high compression.

The Comp 262 AH cam( PI 262 ) grind would work real well for you. You would need Comp or Crower springs to run that cam.

You could go with the Comp 268 cam( NPI ) grind as well but I think you would be happier with the 262's.

Also you would need to get the car tuned. You would make more power than a PI swapped car.
