Any of you local guys know of any place around the Metro area that I can get my windows tinted for less than an arm & a leg. I got 2 quotes today and both were for $200+. I asked why the were so high and the said that it's based on doing 5 windows. The 2 side rear windows combined are no where near the size of the door glass. WTF :damnit:

Anyway, I'd appreciate anyone who can send me 2 some place that does a great job for a better price. :nice:

I've already got a guy coming to my house this Thursday to do 5 windows, any % I want for $169. A bit higher, but I don't have to drive anywhere and if I get pulled over and ticketed he'll remove the drivers and passenger window tint then replace for $50.

Thanks anyway. :nice:

I got 4 other quotes from around here and all were 195+. Like I said before, this guy is mobile and his replacement policy and cost if you get a ticket is unbeatable. I'm not sure what % I'm going with yet. He told me I can decide tomorrow when he gets here and he can show me the samples that he has. The back window is going to be limo for sure.

A guy i know here in West Bloomfield will do it for $180. It is the best job ive seen so far. He has tinted 2 of my cars and all of my friends cars too. He gets the tint on the very edge of the window. You cant even tell that it is a film stuck on the glass, like most other shops i have seen. He also charges $25 per front window to get them redone.

Well got the windows done this morning. I ended up going 20% on the sides & port windows, and 5% (limo) on the rear window. I took pictures of it, but I haven't taken them off the digital yet. Looks awesome though, I can tell ya that. :worship:
