Hey I just wanted to let everyone know that AFM, http://www.andersonfordmotorsport.com, is currently selling the Pro-M Shorty 80mm MAF for $199. I paid $320 for this same thing 3 years ago so this is a great deal.

Sweet, thanks for the heads up. I've been thinking about doing a comparison between my C&L and a Pro-M after my head swap. Dammit, wait a minute - I'm still waiting from my cylinder heads to get here.

Yea, I have bought about $14,000 worth of stuff through UPS without one problem. Of course some of the boxes looked liked the truck ran them over, but nothing has ever been broke.

LOL... I was thinking the same thing. Its hard to pass a deal like that up. Maybe I could sell it for a profit on Ebay in a year or so? Heck, I paid $100 just to get my recalibrated last year. I wish they had the sale then so I could have sold mine and bought a new one.

It depends on the size of your CAI. The opening where the coupler attaches to the MAF is 3.5" and the overall length is 10.5". They aren't real long but are very big around.

It is an E-Bay CAI. I assume it is the same size as a BBK or MAC.

Return it if you can and then buy from AFM. That will save you a little bit at least.

Is it the kind that mounts the MAF between two lengths of piping? The 80mm shorty must go on the end of the pipe because the filter is attached to the MAF.

The filter is in the fenderwell and I would have to check exactly where the MAF is positioned.

I also ordered mine from Pro M; had to get the colored one for that price though.

My car has: Edelbrock upper and lower, Pulley's, Home made CAI, a 70mm tb, an off road H-pipe, flowtech headers, and some 3:55's. Should I get this Pro -M althoght I have stock fuel injectors?

Well if you plan on doing more mods soon then you could get some 24lb injectors and a 80mm MAF now.

Won't I be running too lean, if I change the injectors without some heads?
I mean, I will be changing the heads (next year, around the same time). But then again, 200 dollars for a MAF that's pretty much of a good deal.
